21/04/12: It really was all about One Leicester Square last Saturday as popular gay magazine Attitude celebrated its 18th birthday in huge style.
As you can imagine, the party was rocking with non-stop entertainment from the likes of X Factor stars Alexandra Burke and Marcus Collins performing three tracks each, DJs the Freemasons with dance diva Katherine Ellis (one of the best club PAs I have ever seen), and not to mention the fit as f*ck Boys With Attitude dancers.
Infamous scene DJs Paul Heron, Mikey D and Harvey Adam completed the bill. The venue was vast and far bigger than expected, with the main room packed with club boys in tight vests to more dapper guys in smart shirts… a totally crazy mix. The celebs kept on flowing might I add and at one point I was having it large on the dance floor with East Enders star John Partridge… and I even got a little kiss!
A happy, friendly atmosphere with some of the hottest scene faces around, which really perfected the night. Happy birthday Attitude, let’s hope we see more of this in the future, it was a brilliant burst of freshness to the gay scene.
