BEAR NECCESSITY

03/03/12: QX Club News hit happening Vauxhall nitespot Hidden as London’s burliest blokes gave it up for an action-packed installment of Bear Necessity last weekend. Featuring top class tunes and gorgeous guys, Amsterdam’s biggest bears’ bash keeps on drawing in the rampant crowds, and last Saturday’s fixture proved no exception as a bevy of beefcake checked out the roof-raising antics.

Hosted by the talented Andy Garcia, aka ‘Dr Woof’, an array of fur-fuelled delights saw DJ Louis Lennon hijacking the decks in the main room with a rocket-boosted set of thundering house beats that had delirious dudes tearing off their tops in a muscled-up frenzy, with even more pumpin’ grooves to come from HiFi Sean.

Next door, underground star Pistol Pete packed a punch in room 2, spinning out a jukebox attack of dizzying disco and enough vintage Chicago grooves to satisfy even the most demanding of club music connoisseurs. Elsewhere, hairy hunks escaped the dancefloor heat for a breather on the Hidden terrace as the grizzly shenanigans continued through ‘til late. Watch this space for news of the next Bear Necessity dates!
