13/03/16: Like a set from Miss Saigon, Ministry of Sound was transformed last Sunday into a sweaty Thai den of debauchery for Beyond Bangkok.
Bamboo-like scaffold clad the bar, chain cage podia provided platforms for the scantily clad, and door whore Chrissy Darling forced herself on the unsuspecting locals like a GI on heat – no change there then.
In the main room the legendary Fat Tony took on the mighty Pagano for an epic aural showdown with the onstage visuals coming courtesy of the best booty in town, Archangel Ray and the Beyond Boys.
Over in the 103 it was brilliant to see Maze & Masters ruling the roost the way only they know how before handing over to HiFi Sean to bring it home, while the terrace featured a very popular giant pair of open welcoming legs modelled, I am lead to believe, on the über classy Glendora.
