12/11/11: Beyond hit the big time with a ‘Beyond Ice’, Winter Season Opening Party as QX Club News braved the chill frost of an English winter’s morn for a blistering blowout last weekend.
Featuring twelve pumpin’ hours of heavy-duty antics, the midnight-to-midday bash rocked it around the clock with a heaving mass of bare-chested dancefloor queens giving it up for monumental DJ action from the likes of Steve Pitron, Alan K, Paul Christian and Fat Tony.
Highlights at the decks included the Sharp Boys raising the roof with an ice storm of dazzling up-front house grooves on the main floor, and The Oli, coming in from the cold and setting temperatures soaring for a winter wonderland of underground beats in the Embankment Bar.
Meanwhile, there was live action to come from Hoxton Whores/Soul Avengers ice maiden, Krysten Cummings, who performed a rundown of club anthems, including smashes ‘Sunrise’ and ‘Heard It All Before’.
Elsewhere, there was plenty going on outside as the crazed crowds took a break from the disco burn-up for fresh air and ciggies before heading back into the frenzy. Beyond is back with a twelve-hour ‘Beyond Midnight vs Deviate’ blockbuster this weekend!
