23/08/15: One very drunken taxi from North to South London (tipsy is the ONLY way to cross the Thames), and we arrived at Beyond just as it seemed to be going off. And by “going off”, we obviously mean the clubber’s clothes.
Clearly the crowd had settled comfortably into Ministry, leaving their coats (and vests and composure) at the door. But that’s the thing, ain’t nobody able to stay composed when the tunes are that good; thanks to Chris ‘Brogie Bear’ Brogan and D’Johnny that had the dance floor epilepting (new word, totes making it happen); while Maze&Masters delivered another sexual dose of feel-good house.
Another thing we love about after-hours on a Sunday morning, other than how pretty we look, is that you never know who you’ll bump into in the garden; one minute you’re gossiping with friends visiting from overseas, the next minute you’re slut-dropping like peg-leg Sue just to avoid eye contact with what can only be described as relationship roadkill; ah, fun times.
We’re majorly excited about Beyond’s Bank Holiday Big Top party (though, we’re sure they’ll be plenty of Big Bottoms, too). See you then, guys!
