03/04/16: Since its founding some 14 years ago in Vauxhall, Beyond has evolved from an intimate afterhours club into a global phenomenon, conquering not only the London party scene but touring internationally from Manchester to Miami, New York to Tel Aviv and Ibiza to Sydney.
With iconic residencies at the Colosseum, Area and more recently Ministry of Sound, last weekend saw Beyond head back to its roots and a new weekly slot at Fire.
A mammoth 12 hour spectacular launched the official homecoming with Chrissy Darling and Martin Princess throwing open the doors at midnight offering free entry to all those arriving in the first 3 hours.
Leather-clad gogos cavorted on stage, confetti showered from the ceiling and a writhing melée danced in 3 arches to music London’s top DJs including Paul Heron, Lee Harris, Fat Tony, Gonzalo and Tom Stephan.
Beyond has certainly made its mark on the UK club scene. This new chapter is sure to be the talk of town for some time to come.
