15/06/13: When a New Yorker swings into town, takes charge of the decks and rocks us London revellers, there can only be one suspect and we’re pointing every finger at Honey Dijon.
Last Saturday Honey blew the Dalston Superstore basement harder than hurricane Sandy. Notorious for combining jacking sounds from windy Chicago with New York City sleaze, this girl knew how to handle the heat and homos of Body Talk.
Just like her name, this chick bumped out all tunes sweet and sour and whether she was switching sounds from soulful funk to tech house, not once did the dance floor cease from pumping.
The intensity didn’t just remain in the basement, keeping upstairs moving with the freshest, funkiest grooves was Body Talk residents Tristan Reed and Charlie Bones. Once again, Body Talk had our bodies screaming out for more!
