19/12/15: QX hitched a frosty sleigh ride across our glittering capital as Brüt raised the roof at the Steel Yard for a bumper festive edition.
Featuring two rampaging rooms of sizzling sounds and seasonal shenanigans, London’s biggest monthly bears night packed in a capacity crowd of hefty ho-ho-homos for daddy-sized Chrimbo partying into Sunday morning. Beefcake-a-licious highlights on the dancefloor saw the frantic throng throwing their hands up under giant snowflakes in the main room for bauble-shattering house beats from superstar DJ Pagano, alongside the likes of Ben Jamin, Ross Jones, Dave Urania, Louis Lennon and Tom Stephan. Next door and things got freaky on the Axminster with DJ Dreadful taking on the Meat Boys, Silverhook and Ian B for a Yuletide barrage of underground grooves that had us spinning amidst a snowstorm of sexy studs in room 2. Elsewhere and there was plenty of room for relaxation in the reconfigured upstairs lounge, complete with a bears-eye view of the action below as the frolics continued right through ‘til 6am.
