11/07/15: To quote the song ‘Big Fat Bass’ by Miss Britney Spears; “It’s gettin’ bigga, and bigga, and bigga!” BRÜT continued it’s bid for world domination last Saturday with a bash that left the surrounding streets road-blocked by boys, blokes, bears and more!
Clearly word has spread about the atmosphere, energy and selection of sexy beats and brutes that having been frequenting the City’s Steel Yard. The aptly named Hot Fuzz took over Vault II, working the place into a sweaty frenzy of fierce tunes and vigorous rump shaking, whilst in the main hall, Tom Stephan threw down the aural gauntlet. Smashing us hard with pounding bass lines and rhythms that made us a little ha-zaayyyyy. Sets from Louis Lennon, Ross Jones and Ben Jamin took us to the edge and then finished us right off. But hey, it’s BRÜT, we weren’t going to go home without a second round and thankfully a few burly blokes we scouted on the dancefloor obliged us. Who could ever turn down an offer like “you can be the treble baby, I can be the bass?” Nobody, that’s who. Thank you BRÜT, it was HUGE.
