29/10/16: There were no werewolves under the shadowy arches of the Steelyard for Brüt’s celebration of Halloween on Saturday – at least, we don’t think there were!
but, as you might expect, there were plenty of growly bears, ululating wolves and gyrating otters to feast our blood-shot eyes upon. We spotted a few manflesh-eating zombies too but most horrifying of all, perhaps, was one of those ghoulish, orange “Twinks for Trump”, no doubt hankering for a burly latino to breach his wall.
If all the sexy bods gathered there that night and the goodies on offer for those who came dressed-up weren’t enough to make your blood run hot, the selection of awesome DJs queuing to have a go at the decks should have been enough to make you want to shake those limbs until they fell off.
Louis Lennon, Tom Stephan, Richard Harrington, DJ Dreadful and Ben Jamin, to name but a few, provided hair-raising, booty-shaking sets for the enjoyment of all. It was all howlingly, frightfully fun!
