BUM.P

BUM.P

17/03/17: It was that Friday vibe at Dalston Superstore, where the usual carnival of drag queens was replaced by sexy suavelings so stylish and beautiul that for a moment they could potentially be the offspring of Grimes and Woodkid. For the March edition of BUM.P, the crowd had sprung into feverish dancing to some seriously eclectic tunes which at any point could have been Will Smith, Prince, Cassius, Cher, or generally some strange tune with a sick beat that sounded kinda nineties and had you dancing like Kesha on crack. Fabulous bae! Upstairs, decks were spun by Princess Julia, Charles Jeffrey and James Phillips, while downstairs sickening beats flowed from DUPE, and Jacqui Potato (who by the way, was so prolific as a hostess, that half the photos of this review couldn’t be submitted because she was in all of them!) Generally speaking though, BUM.P was bumping all night long and when it finally closed Cheap Monday samples had to be thrown into the street outside DSS in order to lure everyone out of the club so it could actually shut. Just one more BUM.P? Please?
