Bump

Things went BUMP in the night way up high in the Soho sky at the hottest launch night of the season.

Manbar’s main man, Chris Amos and producer Wesley Marilio had the Penthouse at Rise shaking its groove thang with a new state-of-the-art sound system rattling the floor-to-ceiling windows. We bumped, humped and fogged up the glass as the Leicester Square punters five floors below craned their necks and drooled.

A world launch demanded the planet’s best DJs and Amos scoured the four corners of the earth to serve up an international buffet at our room at the top: Ale Amaral (!), Aussie Brent Nicholls, Spain’s gorgeous Greta Gargola and even our host Chris Amos ‘bumped up the jams’ with a swirly mash-up of pop, deep house disco and dirt-on-the-knees funk.

Our hosts, the indefinable Chrissy Darling and Alex Mercurio gave the tourists something to write home about while shameless scene-stealer and fashionista Brook London had ‘em running for cover if they dared look him in the eyes.

The humpiest muscle-hunks in town hulked about in their tighty-whiteys and seam-stretchin’ speedos courtesy of sponsors CloneZone and ES, Spain’s premium underwear/swimwear label, prompting one outside viewer gazing up at the wiggling muscle-buns shmooshed against the sweaty windows: “They have a pool up there?”

Yes, they do. Dive right in, baby!
