16/07/11: The flagship Saturday night shenanigans continued at Vauxhall mega-venue Fire as Casa Latina followed up its storming launch bash earlier this year with a funkin’ ‘Super Carwash’ party last weekend. Promoter Thiago Drewry showed he’s got what it takes to pull in a rampant crowd of ravers with a Latin-fuelled summer sizzler that had the crowd whipping themselves up into a foot-stompin’ frenzy. Featuring world-class DJ action, scorching dance shows and no end of dazzling production, highlights included Douguim, D’Johnny and Leandro Kloppel taking control of the full-to-capacity main floor with turbo-boosted’ house tunes that had us surfing a tidal wave of thrills amidst a sea of sexy bods. Next door and Brent Nicholls slammed down a crazed carnival of funky Latino-house tracks in the Lounge whilst the proceedings spilled onto the outside smoking terrace for those needing respite from the steamy conditions indoors. Meanwhile, there was more excitement to come with the Casa Latina dance crew getting into a metaphorical lather for a live carwash show atop a 1950s Cadillac as the mayhem continued ‘til late and the antics showed no sign of letting up!
