CIRCUS – RELIGION

24/04/11: Come on gurls, let’s go and get fucking crucified!

If you’re offended by religious ribbing, then [1] – don’t bother reading this review (why not turn to the cocks in the back instead?) and [2] – please hand back your homosexual membership card, ‘cos organised religion don’t give a shit about you, honey! Bringing back her delicious brand of high quality clubbage, Circus and Room Service creator Jodie Harsh put on another treat for the eyes and ears with an Easter-themed party… and a room full of reprobates with no hope of redemption. But who needs to be inappropriately touched by an angel when you can pay your respects to the corpse formerly known as Scottee, or gawp at Medusa, the divine Daniel Lismore in full-on Scottish Widows mode and a slew of beautifully costumed club kids.

The party vibe was fantastic, thanks to a raft of rather awesome tuneage, spun by Fenech-Soler, Joshyou Are and recently-outed-as-a lesbian Kris Dyke Angelis. We’ll even forgive whoever played crime against ears ‘Whip My Hair’ by Willow Smith – but only because I was distracted at the time by sucking off Jesus behind the DJ booth. She was risen! Of course, no such vileness was occurring in these sumptuous surroundings, but this old girl still went home grinning like a Hare Krishna.

NB: Seeing as it ‘tis the season for miracles, could someone see about resurrecting my career? Thanks.
