06/10/18: One of our favourite things about a diverse, imaginative city like London, is that it allows nights like this to THRIVE. Shimmying away in various incarnations since 1995, Club Kali is the LGBT club night that melds Hollywood with Bollywood, in a gleeful kaleidoscope of impressive headgear and nonsensical sequins. For their Queer Prom at the start of the month, there was, as John Hammond would say, no expense spared! They had a dance class, they had drag queens, they had all sorts! The music in particular, a fusion of Bollywood, Bhangra and R&B, was a joy to hear. Well done kidz!
