26/11/11: Saturday night: the scene set, Union the venue and an attack of bears imminent, it was time to party at Club Roar.
DJ Vinny Vero, fresh in from the states, played the hottest New York uplifting house, tune after tune. ‘Roar not only attracts bears and butch guys alike, but there admirers, too.
Shirts soon came off as topless twinks, muscle boys and grizzlies of all shapes, sizes and ages, danced away ‘til the early hours, keeping the rooms and play area bustling.
Club Roar was well attended for its third month and seems to have established itself as the new cub in the woods… don’t miss the next one as promoter Sam Breedt Gomer has lots more exciting stuff to come. Definitely one not to be missed, this is one serious bear trap
