CLUB SAUCE

12/04/13: Last month Brighton saw the launch of its newest gay radio station, Sauce FM. As if to prove they didn’t just have faces for radio, resident DJs Dulcie Danger, Simon Le Vans and Lil Alex went off-air and took over Royal Vauxhall Tavern on Friday night.

Hosted by Dibb-Dobbs, Club Sauce got the weekend underway with dance music worth dusting the wireless off again after the demise of Gaydar Radio. And, pulling out all the stops, the boys brought special guest Misha B with them.

She may have spent the winter of 2011 being judged by the nation on the X Factor, but could she hack an audience of gays demanding nothing less than a good time?

Misha got the thumbs up, her combo of suspenders, big hair and Top 10 hit Do You Think Of Me? proving to be a winning formula. The singer is busy promoting new track Here’s To Everything, due out on 28th April. It looks likely she secured quite a few downloads from those in the packed audience at RVT.

Misha aside, the music played late into the night and the drinks flowed until everyone thought they were superstars in the making. We’re quite sure there were a few hangovers basking in the sun the next day – hopefully to the tune of Sauce FM.
