COVERT RE-LAUNCH

16/03/13: Back under control of its original owners, club Covert is back! And like a disco phoenix from the flames, it’s back for more.

Proving Covert is hoping to do good for the scene, the re-launch night was a fundraiser for Great Ormond Street Hospital. Nineteen kind-hearted DJs gave up their time and day rate, including Alan K, Paul Moreno, Tony English, The Sharp Boys, Paul Heron, Jamie Hammond and Steven Geller to raise money for the charity and throw a helluva party, too.

With such a wealth of support from the scene, it shows Club Covert has already been welcomed back with open arms. Whipped up by host Syliva Rebel, lasers shone on a crowd that was a mix of Vauxhall newcomers and scene regulars, keen to see Covert make its mark.

Promos for the launch branded the night “a new beginning”, and there is more to come. This Saturday 23rd, the club welcomes international bear club Bear Necessity. Then 5th April sees a new chapter begin with the likes of Steve Pitron, Mickey Galliano, and The Oli on the billing for a new weekly Friday nighter. We’ll see you there!
