03/05/13: Dalston Superstore loves to swallow and we’ve had four fabulous years of getting sucked in…deep!
This hot boy haven has never failed to thump Dalston’s foundations with the trashiest trannies, tech beats and dirty disco dancing, so it’s no surprise that time has flown and our Superstore appetite has grown.
With almost half a decade of revelry to reminisce, we expected nothing less than Birthday bedlam from the Superstore superstars and last Friday, that’s exactly what we got.
Kicking off the bank holiday weekend and fuelling the party feet of east London’s hottest homo hipsters was a line-up that could overwhelm even the most regular of pleasure seekers.
Luckily London knows how to handle big packages and it doesn’t get much bigger than Berliner and Berghain resident DJ Boris who flew behind the decks of the laser pit for this extra special celebration.
He might be from Berlin’s ‘club of the moment’ but us gays certainly gave the House and Techno legend no reason to get complacent. Nailing out an energy-packed set, Boris turned the steamy underground into a bouncing Berlin homage, all with the comfort of knowing the ‘KEINE FOTOS’ rule doesn’t apply on east London soil.
After all, it would have been criminal to not capture this jaunt’s big day. So here’s to four more years of Superstore spectaculars!
