03/05/15: And a very Happy Birthday it was too! To celebrate their six years strong as a thriving queer venue, the Dalston Superstore crew threw themselves an epic birthday bash.
With such a Mega line up of hosts and DJ’s it would be difficult for this not to have been an awesome party and it most certainly did not disappoint. A sexy, mixed crowd utterly packed both floors of the venue. The buzzing upstairs bar was gleefully decorated with drag hosts A Man to Pet and Arial Bold alongside gender bending gogo girl/boys Orange Gina and well, yours truly! Meanwhile, downstairs was a steamy, sweaty pit of funky vibes, headlined by Panorama Bar’s Virginia (Ostgut Ton), who tore down the house with her live vocals! By the time the night was through most of the staff had become a drag queen or bar dancer! This truly was a birthday to remember and reaffirms Dalston Superstore as a great venue that truly understands fun, love and great music. It’s a good job every one had bank holiday Monday to recover…
