30/04/17: Uh…Well, that was mindblowing. Nearly 12 hours straight of just about everything you’d expect from a venue that’s home to a family of queers and misfits, that only got progressively messier and more fabulous as the night went on. You can’t make a queer birthday cake without vomiting on a few shoes, let’s be honest. Dalston Superstore boasted an incredible lineup of family and staff, past and present, and even had a special secret guest who was still spinning records until well after 5am. The legendary Derrick Carter was a perfect way to wrap up a celebration of a venue that has been so loyal to the queer community for 8 whole years. Cheers, Dalston Superstore. You certainly know how to throw one hell of a party. Here’s to many more!
