13/09/14: It was that time of the month for an eventful evening of female-fronted legends and dancefloor thrillers at the Bethnal Green Working Mens’ Club. While there was plenty of tranny and femmy antics occurring upstairs, the cabaret basement bar was the ‘hip’ place to be.

The trendy kid and fashionista fags filled the stage while getting their groove on to the ultimate pop, rock, disco and indie tunes upon request! Sassy sister DJs’ Sina Sparrow and Bitchcakes rocked the house by spinning the decks to the hottest 80’s, 90’s and 00’s beats. The gays were gyrating across the dance floor to the likes of Brittany Spears, Girls Aloud, Blondie and the legend among legends that is Ms Tina Turner.

The East-benders were in for a spectacular performance from trashy pop princess Tina Gurner. The Tina Turner doppleganger stole the spotlight with her unbeweavable performance of ‘Proud Mary’ – whilst ‘rolling’ on and off the cabaret stage.

Gurner topped the evening with her cover of Tina Turner’s ‘Simply the Best’, which stole the hearts of the East London crowd. The queen of weaves received a well-deserved encore before tumbling off stage to join in and boogie with her East-end fan club.
