DEELOODED

25/02/12: As soon as Factory’s freshly varnished front doors on Albert Embankment were thrown open on Saturday evening, we were propelled into an entirely new playground for a night of debauchery.

Currently undergoing a huge refurbishment, the venue itself had an edgy, quirky but comfortable feel about it, and what a difference it made in setting the tone for the night – its face-brick interior housing what must have been one of the freshest nights on the scene in quite some time.

Fat Tony’s Delooded, fiercely experimental and original, saw one of the most diverse and up-for-it crowds hit Vauxhall for some fun – and there was no disappointment, with fun around every corner.

Hosts Mark-Ashley, JJ, Danny and Alex each added their own approach and unique appeal to the night, seamlessly merging different scene-groups together into one big group of friends – the atmosphere was incredible.

The big names behind the decks drove the night forward furiously from start to finish; the crowd didn’t stop for a second – and, of course, Boy George’s closing set hit the right spot, as always.

The hot new talents on the decks across in the second room, especially Matt Bogard, went down just as well with the crowd. Delooded launched with a resounding bang – just as we all knew it would – and, man, did it deliver a punch – hitting us all so hard, we’re all now more Delooded than ever before.
