Discosodoma

13/08/16: Saturday nights are always busy affairs at Dalston Superstore, one of the trendiest and most popular queer venues in London; and this Saturday night was no exception.

A rampant crowd of party people had invaded the place to revel in the hedonistic delights offered by the latest edition of Discosódoma.

Perhaps they had been lured there by the club night’s characteristic psychedelic-esoteric poster by John Philip Sage, featuring, this time, The Empress – a modern-day naked purple medusa seated, legs wide open, on top a yellow Cadillac, in a glorious clash of bold colour blocks, or perhaps it was the presence at the decks in the laser pit of special guest DJ Paramida, come straight from her mischievous Berlin antics to lit up the dance floor with her beats and ensure maximum jollification.

She got some serious help from Discosódoma residents Stathis and Maria Politi, while Cheriii, TWANG and A Man To Pet led the carousing in the main bar with a heady mix of pop, electro and R&B. What more could you ask for a Saturday night?
