Discosodoma

08/10/16: Disco! Sodomy! Discosodoma!

All our fave things, rolled up, dipped into glitter, shoved through a camp-o-meter and stamped on by Robyn, or someone like that, to make a tall, freshly-squeezed glass of queer nightlife. Discosodoma has reached the reputation of being one of gay East London’s most sought-after club nights, and you could tell on Saturday…the Superstore was heaving! And what was nice was the variation of the crowd. Friendly arty straights, rollicking roiling gays, and everyone in between. It was major! We popped out for a fag and got chatting to a man who said he was one of FKA Twigs’ backing dancers. We’re not sure we believe him. Without being mean, he wasn’t exactly shaped like…you would expect…a backing dancer…to be shaped? Who knows though! You never know! They had special guest Luigi Di Venere on the decks, fresh from Berlin! His sound is that gorgeously chic, refreshingly self-aware house. Lovely.
