11/01/14: Firstly, we’d like to wish good luck to those partaking in a dry January; we showed our support by raising a glass to their efforts.
In fact, just to make sure the world’s balance wasn’t thrown off by all those sober-preaching Facebookers, we thought it was only dutiful that we made up for the units they were missing (naturally). Nothing inspires sobriety like getting absolutely paralytic. And where better to indulge in some supportive drinking than Shoreditch’s hottest night; Dish. If you were wondering what the Dish was… It was totes “Quiche” obviously.
Q Boy turned up the temperature with some raunchy R&B (we were only fire sprinklers away from a 90s music video), while Cathal O’Brien made sure he followed up with a set just as tasty.
Handsome host Tom Stephan played an extra long main course that proved so hot our loins were on fire (although not in the GUM clinic way). As the night came to end, we continued to show why when you miss Dish because of a dry resolution – that’s exactly what it is… Dry. The best Dish is always a liquid lunch.
