DISH

14/07/12: Descending down the stairs of the London scene’s favoured labyrinth, and proceeding onto the melting pot that was the main floor last Saturday night – one most certainly felt that they’d arrived at Dish; by name, by nature.

A delectable variety of men, t-shirted, short-shorted, skin-bared and broad smiling were already bass-slaying and throwing themselves into the bump and grind of another wild and widely revered night at Bloc.

The house was throbbing, the barmen had long disposed of their tops in a bid to keep the drinks coming and stay as cool as the night’s musical servings, which came hot and steady at the skilled hands of main room headliners Borja Peña and Tom Stephan.

While in the side Dish space, and for slightly different tastes, spinning r’n’b, hip-hop and 80s groove, were DJs Scott Webster and Kartel Brown. Pumping up-tempo tracks a little lighter in tone in the Pudding Lounge, were DJs Jonbenet Blonde, Jaquci Potato and special guest for the night, DJ Tatu.

Definitely an appetizing experience, the boys will be back, snaking around the Bloc, when the next course is ready!
