20/05/16: After a three week hiatus, Eagle London came back with a BOOM
Last Friday at their Men Inc. launch party. Not just a lick of dulux and a new drape 60 minute makeover like some venue refurbs, Eagle have had a full-on strip-it-back-and-make-it-gorgeous, and they have succeeded by the bucket load. The central bar is still there but has been remodelled to ensure uninterrupted service from all sides, but the main change is to the venue itself which has been opened up and stripped back to light brick giving it the feel of a New York West Side bar.
It looks and feels much bigger and more airy with loads of room to cruise and mingle, subtle lighting and oh, that new sound system – just WOW. Opening night jocks Dan Murphy, Mark Loverush and Sugarbear took it for a test drive and the L plates were soon off as we careered around an aural rollercoaster that encompassed every decade from the 60s onwards.
The opening night crowd of leathermen and others packed in to see the new girl’s outfit, and no one was disappointed. New Eagle London. Amazing. Gorgeous. Cruisy. Home.
