11/02/12: QX felt the force as Barcode went into overdrive for an Energy Bears blowout that had the Vauxhall block rockin’ last Saturday.
Long a smash hit on the continent, this recent addition to the London scene has already made its mark this side of the water with a run of funkin’ fixtures. We checked out the antics as the crew threw a Valentine’s party that had us getting gruff on the dancefloor through the night.
Featuring two rampant rooms of beefed-up beats, top marks went to HiFi Sean in the front bar, spinning enough hands-in-the-air house licks to get the boys bumpin’ booties between the bar stools.
Meanwhile, Argentine deck dazzler, Ariel, hit the heights for a fabulous fiesta of Latino-tinged progressive and techy beats in the back room, with even more DJ action to come from the very legendary Micky Galliano.
In between dancefloor forays, sex on legs host Xavier Musclebeard had us dripping in places that reputable men like us simply shouldn’t be!
We fled upstairs, where the laid back chill-out zone gave us a fantastic view down onto the dancing masses, thrilling laser shows and one of the hairiest hunkiest go-go guyz we’ve seen in a long time as the sexy shenanigans continued right through to 6am!
