G-A-Y – EMELI SANDÉ
Posted on February 15, 2012
11/02/12: AMAZEBALLS! … I think is an apt way to describe this past weekend at G-A-Y @ Heaven (thanks to Perez Hilton for that fabulous new word).
The venue was filled to capacity, the atmosphere was vibrant and alive, the boys were hot and the girls, we like to think, were vajazzled. All of this was going off because of who was performing that night!
I wanted to sing, I wanted to shout, I wanted to scream ‘til the words dry out, yes it was, the incredible, the stunning Emeli Sande! Emeli had a full band backing her, helping to perform all her greatest hits and a few new tracks, this wasn’t just a few songs at G-A-Y @ Heaven, this was a full-on concert… and it was sensational!
She gave a flawless performance and we all loved her for it. After the first three songs, us reporters were asked to stop taking photographs, but that gave me the best seat in the house, sat on the steps at the front of the stage to watch the rest of her performance. I’m a lucky boy!
