23/04/15: Our weekly outing to G-A-Y Porn Idol last week featured the delightful Sharon Needles, winner of Ru Paul’s Drag Race season 4, accompanied by her drag daughter Million Dollar No Arms.
The usual shenanigans from a slew of undateables ensued: cute young twinks cavorted and shook their booties, a straight guy who reminded me of my geography teacher stripped while his girlfriend watched from the judge’s sofa and a Needles super-fan did a burlesque tease while Sharon herself gave constructive and caring feedback like: “You put the power back in to power skank”; “Congratulations of being a total fucking whore”; and “Darling, you clearly have daddy issues, and the issue is you wanna suck your daddy’s cock again”. It all came down to an all-female strip-off between a Kevin and Perry style lesbian duo and the burlesque super-fan, with the duo’s enthusiasm winning the day and the £100. This week sees Alaska Thunderfuck on stage and next week it’s the return of the queen herself Michelle Visage.
