25/10/14: As the X Factor juggernaut continued to plough through our weekend viewing schedule, just like clockwork last week’s evictees rocked up at G-A-Y with a CD of backing tracks and a forlorn look on their faces.
This week it was sisters doing it for themselves as Cheryl’s girls, retro crooner Chloe Jasmine and 20 year old Stephanie Nala, strutted their stuff. Stephanie went first with ‘Call Me’ and ‘Wicked Games’, but for her 3rd track she was challenged to get a member of the audience naked so as she sang Rihanna’s ‘We Found Love’ she plucked a daring chap and stripped him off!
Next up, Chloe popped her G-A-Y cherry in a £25,000 dress made of postage stamps with ‘Peter Rabbit’, ‘Over The Rainbow’ and Britney’s ‘Toxic’ before completing her challenge and crowd surfing across the venue. Making up the perfect girly 3-way, Jay-Z’s Roc Nation presented their newest pop and RnB princess Alexa Goddard with her debut track ‘Marilyn’, Whitney’s ‘I Wanna Dance With Somebody’ and her new single ‘So There’ during which she recreated the video’s pillow fight with Chloe and Stephanie.
With the stage looking like the set from some chicken-slasher-gore flick, it was then time to get down to some serious dancing for the next four hours. This Saturday X Factor evictee and all round hottie Jake Quickenden will join the G-A-Y Hallowe’en weekend line-up.
