GAYDARRADIO 10TH BIRTHDAY

19/10/11: Once upon a time in Twickenham there was a house full of gays. And in that house full of gays was a bedroom.

And in that bedroom (when it wasn’t being used for nocturnal activities and as a wardrobe for hats, wigs and heels) was a computer. And on that computer were thousands upon thousands of camp classics that played out like a jukebox to all the gays around the world who preferred the comforting sounds of Kylie on their ear drums as they cruised the internetosphere for cock… I mean companionship.

And so Gaydar, the world’s No.1 gay website, gave birth to it’s fledgling radio station, ingeniously named ‘GaydarRadio’!

With GaydarRadio’s arrival the airwaves would never be the same again. Henceforthwith, every gay man, woman and child (well, those aged over 16, for legal reasons) would never have to subject themselves to the monotonous sounds of Hetero FM ever again, for GaydarRadio developed a taste for credible, cool and simply damn-fun dance music that all the gays would listen to as they applied their eyeliner on Saturday nights in preparation for a night out, or as they poured another tequila in the chill out come Sunday morning.

They even tuned in during breakfast over their Special K as the Prince and Princess of GaydarRadio addressed the Gay Nation every morning.

It was because of GaydarRadio that the Queer Kingdom was a more cheerful place to live, and when it came to its 10th birthday (199 in gay years) King Henry of Gaydar declared that a celebration should be had.

With a wave of his magic wand, a bloody good party was thrown last week at the magical castle ‘Lo-Profile’ in commemoration of the occasion, which included a rousing performance by dance siren Krysten Cummings, lots and lots (and lots!) of delicious cocktails and a yummy big cake… YAY!

And they all lived happily ever after! The End…
