05/04/14: Whoever said a date made on Grindr wouldn’t work should’ve been to SWAG at Area Saturday night. Orange Nation teamed up with everyone’s favourite matchmaker, Grindr, to see those thumbnail pix full-size in real inches (without the pixilated faces!)
Big friendly manager Carl Hughes and promoter goddess Verity Mayes decided “it just made sense for the biggest promoter in the world and the biggest gay date site to bring the biggest dance and sex party to the room.”
DJs Ben Isham, Fabio Luigi, Sam DMS and Lee Harris pumped up a full-on 6-hour up-your-arse pounding ‘til angels fell from Heaven as Orange Nation dancers Jack, Michael, David, Carlos Lopez and Archangel Raphael Michilis did 5 swag-grinder shows under Jorge Santos’ spectacular lighting.
“It’s muito loca!” Archangel danced away amongst 3 packed rooms of London’s hottest men who got off Grindr and got grinding on the dance floor.
Hosts JJ Clark, Jay Cook and Mark Cassar kept things warm and friendly while coat check queen Patricia Braga held it all together, not so easy in a non-stop party.
Outside in London’s favourite patio, PR accountant Chris Kash, all blue eyes and black tatts said something sweet but I forget cuz I was staring at his hot bod.
