31/12/10: Having successfully survived New Year’s Eve in the West End, as soon as the roads were open (in fact we were the first vehicle allowed through the barriers such is the power we have at QX!) we headed out to East Bloc for the Dalston Gay Mafia’s shindig at GutterSlut. Barely escaping the clutches of door whore (or just plain whore?) A Man To Pet, the Smiling Swede (that’s Per QX to you) whooshed us around the venue across dance floors packed with an eclectic Hoxton crowd to the roomy booths where we could watch the shenanigans. Pressed between über sexy Tom Stephan, the serenading MC Miss Crystal and the GutterSlut residents and just when we thought things couldn’t get any better, the Woo bus arrived in a shower of glitter and prosthetics… amazing!
