20/12/14: Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the handsomest one of all? A question that still remains unanswered as East Bloc was proud to announce ‘Handsome’s 2nd Birthday’ unifying the most hunky guys across London for their love and passion of house music.
There were no ugly ducklings in sight while the Shoreditch studs and flamboyant club kids twirked and flirted to the sexiest house tunes on the planet! And who better to kick off this beautiful evening than the Godfather of UK house music that is CJ Mackintosh? Known for remixing huge names including Whitney Houston (God rest her soul) and The Jungle Brothers, Mackintosh turned up the bass delivering a mash-up night of house tunes which really got those juices flowing!
Joining Mackintosh included our beloved Dave Kendrick, Geddes, Mistamaker and Nasty McQuaid spinning their decks till the after hours! The East-end crowd were losing themselves in the sexy house vibe pining for more and more house beats!
This festive evening would not be the same without the sugarcoated candy men behind the bar. It’s a shame Santa can’t put one of those in our Xmas stocking this year, but hey, it doesn’t hurt to stare does it?
