30/05/15: We hit the sexy streets of Shoreditch as Handsome welcomed hot homos galore for a super-glossy edition of one of the East End’s fave rave-ups last weekend.
Taking in two fabulous rooms of stunning sounds amidst the subterranean environs of City Road’s bijou East Bloc, a hyped-up crowd made a mess of the dancefloor, for an underground Saturday night session that had the rebellious rabble throwing their hands up into the dawn.
Highlights in the main room saw the likes of Ninebob and Martyn Fitzgerald getting the throng stomping hard for some of the freshest classic and contemporary house grooves in town. Next door, gay hip-hop guru Mistamaker took on MC Tyron, with a booty grindin’ R&B face-off featuring a non-stop barrage of bling-studded beats from the 90s to now.
Meanwhile, there was even more legendary action to come at the decks from none other than UK house pioneer, Terry Farley, as the party posse kept the proceedings pumpin’ right through ‘til closing time!
