26/09/15: East Bloc proved once again that it’s the place to be if you’re after hot beats and hot boys in East London.
Back for its regular monthly instalment, HANDSOME took over the busy main room and made us dance with the best selection of old school and nu school house anthems. Resident DJs Dave Kendrick and Martyn Fitzgerald were joined this week by PER QX (we miss Gutterslut!), who had the sexy crowd moving to the sound of classic house bangers. Mistamaker and Ninebob made us drop down and dirty at the Bar with all the best R&B and Hip-Hop out there. We were getting wild and flirty on the dancefloor to the sound of the latest tracks by Rihanna & co. This month partygoers were made even more “handsome” (see what I did there?) by new-kid-on-the-block photographer Freddy Krave, who documented the party with his distinctive style. We could not ask for a better club night, and the next instalment is coming even before than expected: on October 10th HANDSOME will throw its first party in Manchester.
