06/05/17: Handsome at East Bloc certainly lived up to its name or, as we enjoy saying, DID WHAT IT SAID ON THE TIN. Why? Because there were lots of Handsome boys there. Oh yes. Some right sorts! From chisel-jawed chaps to glint-eyed gads. Sorry that’s TERRIBLE alliteration, but we can’t resist alliteration. Virginia Wright was in attendance too, she’s a right one. She can often be spotted clopping up and down Harringay Green Lanes, treating herself to some salted nuts. As is always the case at East Bloc, the music was bangin’! That makes us sound a bit straight and laddy doesn’t it. “It was BANGIN mate! Sick tunes!” Anyway yeah it was good, lol.
