HEROES

10/03/12: Attention! Attention! London clubbers are dying and need some mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.

Heroes came just in the nick of time to rescue all breeds of the party animal. As we expected, Jim Warboy hatched the Egg by creating a realm of musical bliss. Bringing us to back to life, his set was packed full of energy, creating a truly fitting reception for guest DJ JoJo De Freq.

But even JoJo’s glamorous persona and shiny blonde locks were obstructed from view by waving arms and bodies, uncontrollably grooving to the daring techy sound. If that couldn’t awaken you, global DJ and headliner Butch certainly could.

Complimenting JoJo’s tech-house style, Butch introduced harder bass-lines and ecstatic chords, generating more head banging than a death metal concert pit! Talking of Heroes, host Scottee did a fabulous job of guiding us around the great labyrinth that is Egg.

Thank heavens he did, as those who discovered the middle floor were rewarded with a deeper house vibe from DJs Kris Di Angelis, Jaime Ritchie and James Pople who stole the show, pumping out bass-lines that had the crowd mesmerized. Let’s hope Heroes know CPR, as I’ll need it after waiting a month for the next installment!
