19/03/17: If you’ve ever been to the Eagle, you will have at some point noticed the screens that either play naughty stuff, a rather strange selection of films or, more recently, recordings of the time they took over Channel 4 for an hour or two – one of the most beautifully bizarre things to have ever happened on TV. Either way, what should be clear at this stage, is that you can always count on the unexpected when you get to Horse Meat Disco on a Sunday. To celebrate the release of the remastered BluRay edition of John Waters’ aptly titled Multiple Maniacs, the Eagle held a screening of the film. Some of the characters had apparently even stuck around after the film for a boogie and ended up giving impromptu performances, doing people’s make up and getting up to no good until the small hours of the morning! It was madness!
