16/11/13: QX scaled the dizzy heights of London’s fashionable Eastside as the hipsters hit Kingsland Road for a Little Gay Brother Presents ‘The Back House’ spectacular at Dalston Superstore last weekend.
Taking its cue from Dolly Parton’s cinematic smash, ‘The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas’, a night of risqué raunch and riotous ructions saw the Superstore superstars getting all ‘Southern workin gal’ on our funky asses for a block rockin blowout that had us partying into the small hours.
(Bubble-permed) highlights included Dolly and Burt Reynolds lookalikes leading the hoedown at ground level with poptastic back up from dazzling deck master Neil Prince. Downstairs, we could hardly tear our gaze away from hairy hunk DJ Chris Camplin, showing off his manly torso and spinning a barrage of bitchin’ beats that had the dancefloor erupting in a rave-o-matic frenzy.
Back up top, the sweaty shenanigans switched to ‘Dirty Dancing’-style gyrating atop the bar as the busty bonanza continued through ‘til super-late.
