LUSH-MO
Posted on February 8, 2012
05/02/12: The Green Carnation was the place to be as QX Club News attended the intimate launch of Lush-Moi, deep in the beating heart of London’s glamorous West End last weekend.
The brainchild of French promoter, Johnny Sparkle, the latest addition to the Sunday scene brought a dash of continental chutzpah to a shivering winter’s eve as the Soho set braved snow, ice and wandering drag queens for a night of cocktails and turbo-boosted DJ sounds.
With pre-publicity promising a roll-call of up-and-coming DJ names from France and the UK, along with established deck stars, dazzling upstart, Dan K, hit the heights for a set of pumpin’ club sounds that had us jumpin’ up from our banquettes and hitting the dancefloor before you could say “make ours a Margarita, honey”.
Elsewhere, there further diversions with one of the most flexible displays of pole dancing we’ve seen in a long time, swish décor and some of the chattiest, friendliest bar staff in town. Cheers, we’ll drink to that!
Check out more photos from this event and plan your next night out, all in the palm of your hand with the ‘QX Gay London’ iPhone app. Available to download FREE from the iTunes app store.
