24/05/14: After a costly court case fighting a tiresome neighbour, last week Manbar were given their entertainment license back just in time for the Spring bank holiday, and celebrated with a whole raft of ‘Turn Me Up’ parties.
We trotted down on Saturday for ‘Hombre’ the official pre-party for Absolutely Juicy with fond memories of the Andrew Harris original Juicy parties ‘back in the day’ wafting around in our grey cell depleted crania.
The delightful DJ Gretta was on hand with a whole box of commercial and the latest house tunes interspersed with her stepping out from behind the decks for some camp performance.
Manbar is a welcoming haven for an eclectic mix of hirsute hotties starting a big night out, twinks having a pre-Conchita cocktail and those just out for a pint and a chinwag with mates, and we are delighted to have it back on our rosta of late night hangouts.
