24/06/11: Those that weren’t at Glastonbury this year, were at Marvellous enjoying the indie pop sounds of Dawn Right Nasty. Marvellous, which used to be in Brixton a decade ago, is now settling in to its new home up the road at the Royal Vauxhall Tavern in Vauxhall (ironically enough), hosted by the vivacious Joan Dairy Queen giving you a warm welcome with a smile and a cheeky wink. Marvellous definitely had that festival vibe of free love, free speech and most importantly freestyle dancing! As the midnight hour struck, the ever changing surprise act came on stage, this time it was none other than Voodoo Mick strumming away on his guitar to many a tune. So let your tribal dance come out and pitch your tepee at the monthly Marvellous night in the Royal Vauxhall Tavern and dance the night away!
