Matinée

25/05/14: The thing we love about continental clubbing is that most of them have a terrace that enables you to top up your tan whist dancing with a hottie in shorts.

Sadly here in London those opportunities are few and far between as most of our venues are not set up that way and our weather is a little too unpredictable to plan an al fresco shindig. On Sunday though the gods smiled down on the gays and sent warming rays to light up the Matinee Terrace Party at the Ministry of Sound giving an Ibiza feel that had the boys shucking their shirts quicker than you could say DSquared sale.

Superstar DJ Ivan Gomez joined Tony English, Michel Mizrahi and Fabio Luigi outside, while the pale skinned Lee Harris stayed indoors with Gonzalo and Mike Dower on the Society decks, and while the inside dance floor was packed, it was clearly all about the terrace which was rammed to capacity with hot flesh as scantily clad dancers cavorted on a purpose built stage and cooling CO2 cannons blasted across the crowd. The London season is officially OPEN.
