01/11/14: There’s no better theme than ‘Pervert’ for Halloween.
I mean, Halloween is just an excuse to let your inner bitch out as it is, so why not just take it that step further and let her sister-slut go happy trick or treating around town. It’s a blatant excuse to wear as little as possible and put it down to being festive. Not the fact that you’re just a little horn bucket that loves a grope on the dancefloor. Matinée Pervert provided the perfect opportunity for just that. If it wasn’t enough that they pulled out all the stops and recruited some of London’s most cum-drippingly sexy gogo dancers to parade around in, well, next to nothing. They had to go and cram every inch of Fire with one of the sexiest crowds we’ve seen since, well… since the last time Matinée did just that same thing to us. (OK, we’re sensing a pattern here.) As the big Spanish beats that are so typically Matinée played out on the rammed main floor, we darted between the Lounge’s Brazilian fest and the Mirror Arch’s sexed-up deeper house. Oh yes, we are social butterflies at QX and we have a reputation to uphold. (No comment.)
