27/08/11: Back for her third solo visit to G-A-Y, we almost let out a bit of wee last week as we rocked up to see who we believe to be the Spice Girl with the most talent, Melanie C. In a slinky see-through lace dress, a mixed set of old and new songs saw her perform gorgeous acoustic versions of ‘Stupid Game’, ‘Never Be The Same Again’ and ‘Burn’.
While a megamix video played on the giant screen she dashed off and came back a few minutes later in a figure-hugging black bodysuit for her great new track ‘Think About It’ and the finale of the now über-classic ‘I Turn To You’.
We really can’t praise Melanie’s performance enough, she was note perfect, bubbly, fun and a consummate professional, no diva tantrums or dramas, just a great, great show.
