Misfits Birthday Ball

04/06/14: Had it really been a whole year since Misfits turned Wednesday into the new Saturday? Well the number of Thursday hangovers, and last week’s giant celebration at East Bloc, would suggest – yes! But you thought normal Wednesdays were carnage? Girl, this week’s Vogue Ball had all three rooms open and more going on than one of Katy Perry’s red carpet ensembles.

Mark-Ashley Dupé pulled out all the stops with DJs Nastee McQuaid, Dayne Harper, Maximus Crown and Jeffery Hinton putting on a party that would put Hugh Heftner to shame.

And the crowd held nothing back when it came to the Vogue battle either, seriously it was like Beyoncé exploded up in there. And there was a point when even we weren’t sure if some Maleficent-style shade was gonna get thrown. But nah, these bitches are all friends!

It was an amazing (if not slightly blurry) celebration and we hadn’t enjoyed kunty beats likes this since Azalea Banks broke onto the club scene (before rapidly disappearing again). And when we left, we were more dishevelled than Courtney Love at an open bar. Long live Misfits!
