14/11/15: Motherload was back for a fourth time at East Bloc last Saturday and it certainly feels like the venue has hit on a vein of gold with this new monthly fixture.
DJ’s D Ramirez and Guy Williams had the crowd diggin’ deep all night in the front room while things got hot back in The Den with veteran deck-spinner and DJ to the fashionistas Justin Ballard serving up Deep House beats.
Luke Heard was also there giving us his best Euphoric Techno. There’s something about the space at East Bloc that just makes you forget the world outside, and if there was one weekend we needed to forget that world it was this one.
The place packed out until it felt like a magma chamber boiling over with energy.
I came away feeling like Motherload had been less just another club night, and more of a lesson in living in the moment.
